Ameeta Soni advises and partners with CEOs to drive growth. She recruits top-level talent at both operating and board levels and has experience with audit, crisis management, M&A, and executive/board strength through her corporate and board roles.
Ms. Soni played a vital role in developing new products and markets and facilitated funding, M&A, and IPOs, generating billions of dollars for stakeholders. She is exceptionally skilled at creating successful go-to-market strategies and building valuable partnerships for global expansion. Ms. Soni is also passionate about leveraging digital technologies for long-term growth.
Ms. Soni served on the supervisory board of publicly held Esker SA (ENXTPA: ALESK, $1.6B market cap), a global leader in AI-driven process automation, until its successful sale to PE firms Bridgepoint and General Atlantic. She was a member of its audit and ESG committees.
Ms. Soni is a member of Maroon Venture Partners Fund's investment committee, holding board positions with portfolio companies Ompractice, TOP the organic project, and HomeBinder (acquired by iGo). She previously served as Board Director at PlumChoice (raised $89M and acquired by Square/Allstate). At VC-backed Genus, she served on the team spearheading the merger with a sister portfolio company and two successful public offerings.
Ms. Soni has founded and held leadership and board roles with companies across multiple industries and technologies. She was Chief Marketing Officer at engage2learn, a Leeds Equity Partners portfolio company, and PlatformQ Health. Earlier, as CMO, SVP of Business Development, and Head of Sustainability Solutions at VFA, an Edison Partners portfolio company, she grew market share, revenues, and margins serving Global 500 and government clients. VFA is now part of the industrial conglomerate Fortive (NYSE: FTV).
In her consultancy, Ms. Soni delivers growth for publicly traded and PE/VC-backed tech and digital health companies. She enables successful funding and exits and often serves as an interim C-Suite executive. She is currently serving as interim CMO at Everfox, a provider of solutions for the most complex cybersecurity threats, and a TPG portfolio company.
Ms. Soni has served on the board of non-profit organizations, including the MIT Enterprise Forum Cambridge (chair), The Boston Club, and the Board of Overseers at the Boston Museum of Science.
Ms. Soni's global perspective is enriched by having lived in five countries and visited nearly 50. She is NACD Directorship Certified® and was selected to be a Fellow of the Herndon Directors Institute, a NASDAQ-sponsored program for corporate directors. Ms. Soni has received private company and private equity company governance certificates from the Private Directors Association. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Polymer Science & Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a BSc (Honors) in Chemistry from St. Stephen's College.
