Ameeta Soni is a seasoned board leader and growth strategist with extensive experience in scaling B2B SaaS and AI-driven technology companies toward successful exits. She brings operational leadership and go-to-market insight to boards, assisting companies in accelerating enterprise sales, expanding globally, and managing complex stakeholder relationships. Ameeta has advised boards and CEOs on commercialization strategies, investor engagement, and positioning for PE and strategic transactions.
She served on the Supervisory Board of Esker SA (ENXTPA: ALESK), a global leader in AI-driven process automation with $1.6 Billion market cap, until its successful sale to Bridgepoint and General Atlantic. Ameeta was a member of Esker’s Audit and ESG committees, contributing to governance and growth strategies. Her board experience includes venture-backed companies such as HomeBinder (acquired by iGO), Ompractice, and PlumChoice (acquired by Allstate). She is also a member of the investment committee for the Maroon Venture Partners Fund.
Ameeta has held leadership roles across various sectors, including as CMO at engage2learn (Leeds Equity Partners portfolio) and PlatformQ Health. Earlier, as CMO and SVP at VFA, a SaaS and services provider within Edison Partners’ portfolio, she significantly increased market share, revenues, and margins serving Global 500 and government clients. VFA is now part of Fortive (NYSE: FTV).
Ameeta played a vital role in developing new products and markets, generating billions of dollars for stakeholders. She excels in creating go-to-market strategies and strategic partnerships for national and global expansion. Ameeta is committed to leveraging AI and other digital technologies for long-term success. She previously contributed to two successful public offerings while at VC-backed Genus, following its merger with a sister portfolio company.
In her consultancy, Ameeta delivers growth for PE- and VC-backed as well as publicly traded tech and digital health companies at inflection points, often serving as an interim C-Suite executive. Most recently, she worked at Everfox, a cybersecurity provider within PE firm TPG’s portfolio, and Dover Corporation, a Fortune 500 company.
Ameeta has also served on several nonprofit boards, including the MIT Enterprise Forum Cambridge (Chair) and the Board of Overseers at the Boston Museum of Science. Ameeta is NACD Directorship Certified®, a Fellow of the Herndon Directors Institute, and holds certifications in private company and private equity portfolio company governance from the Private Directors Association. Her global perspective is enriched by living in five countries and visiting nearly 50. She earned her MBA from the University of Chicago.
